Verse 17 - "Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and does not do it, sins."
This is a very strong statement when it comes to sin, and I think it gets overlooked. When we think of sins we think of adultery, lying, stealing, murder, etc.
But, as followers of Christ, faith without deeds is dead. James already told us that in Chapter 2. Here he is reminding us again.
"Anyone, who knows the good he ought to do and does not do it, SINS."
